Bio
Dr. Beck was born & raised in Southern California. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology.
He then moved to Philadelphia to attend Drexel University College of Medicine to earn a Master’s in Medical Science & a Medical Doctrine. Next, he returned to Los Angeles to complete his internship & residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Training at one of the top trauma centers in Los Angeles area provided Dr. Beck with extensive experience & expertise in orthopedic fracture care. After completing residency, Dr. Beck spent an additional year of fellowship consisting of training & research in the subspecialty of Spine Surgery at Harvard Combined Spine Fellowship, spending time at both Massachusetts General Hospital & Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
In Boston, he developed his interests in degenerative conditions of the spine, adult deformity surgery, management of traumatic spinal injuries, & minimally invasive surgical techniques. Outside of work, Dr. Beck enjoys pursuing an active, healthy lifestyle with his family. During his free time, he is an avid cyclist, surfer, & tennis player.
