Bio

Mikala is a board-certified physician assistant who graduated from MCPHS University in Boston. During her education, she completed nine clinical clerkships at major hospitals & small private practices across the Northeast & Southwest; two of which focused on orthopedic surgery.

Mikala is originally from New Mexico, where she went to the University of New Mexico for her undergraduate degree in Business Administration. While living there, she had extensive experience working in the ER as a medical scribe & patient care technician. She also spent time in a pain clinic, learning how to manage chronic pain syndromes.

She looks forward to bringing her experiences to the team at South Shore Orthopedics and being a part of the South Shore community.
